OCP builds and maintains a Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) modeling tool that is open, peer-reviewed, and trusted across the industry—a financial estimation platform that captures Capex, Opex, and sensitivity analysis across diverse data center power and cooling options. The goal is to enable smarter, more informed decision-making amongst OCP members collaborating on the tool. The working group also offers directional insights to guide key trade-offs and planning. It’s built to help train and empower trusted advisors, from tech vendors to facility teams, navigate choices like air, immersion, cold plate, hybrid, and emerging cooling solutions.
